I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Kallman. He was an incredible man. I was blessed to know the Kallman family through my mom & dad, Mary & Mike Granieri. Mr. Kallman always made me feel welcomed and so special whenever I saw him and I will treasure my memories forever. You've been reunited with my mom & dad & I know how special you were to them.

Deepest sympathy from the Hidalgo family. My dad Ricahrd and Cuca always spoke highly of your dad. He was a great friend to them and the family was very appreciative of the kind words he gave when our dad passed.

What an honor to call this wonderful man "friend".

Bob is now serving us in a new place, preparing a better place for us when it is our time to be together again in His loving hands. I truly cherished the time we had together, if only for a minute, an hour, or a family evening it was always special.

Santa Barbara and the country have lost a rare fine statesman, community servant, and family man. His lasting footsteps in the sands of life will be hard to fill.

Bob was a member of America's Greatest Generation.
He served his country, raised his family and worked hard to overcome whatever challenge life put before him.

His word was his bond and his handshake was his signature.
Simply put, he gave more than he took. Thats the “Greatness” of his generation.

Bob's life was defined by impeccable personal integrity and altruism.

Much of what Santa Barbara has become is due to his work as a public servant and a volunteer. Kallman's Nursery planted the seeds of his altruism and Bob nurtured their ubiquitous growth in our community.
Bob Kallman the consummate teacher, showed me his values by the way he lived his life- not through his words.

Each of us must now move forward without Bob Kallman in our lives, but with his spirit in our hearts.

He will be missed, but never forgotten.
