My dear Grandfather was an incredible man that led a remarkable life. He ingrained in me the importance of family; his family meant everything to him and he always let us know. I will cherish many fond memories of him, including: dancing to Big Band Jazz music with him (especially Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack), listening to his inspiring stories about his life's journey, discussing current events and sharing our ideas about the world, but most importantly, I will cherish the intangibles - his voice, his laugh, his whistle, his charisma, his zest for life, and his immense amount of love he shared with the world.

He leaves behind a legacy through all of the lives he touched during his 91 years here and I feel so lucky, so blessed, that I got to call him Grandpa. He was my world and I will miss him dearly, but his memory will live on and like my Grandpa always said, "The best is yet to come!"

We have come here to celebrate the life life of a very remarkable and kind hearted man -- my father.

What can I say? A father, a leader, a man who with his unbelievable skills had that magic which was so infectious to everyone he came in contact with. My dad had that relentless gift to accomplish whatever he set his mind to.

His deep love for my mother created a journey that goes on to this day. Dad danced his way through life with his Satin Doll next to him. His love for his family was so boundless that it instilled to each of his sons to carry on his legacy from generation to generation.

A man who left a mark on everyone he touched will be remembered forever. Dad, you will live through us in our hearts for eternity. You are now entering a new life of happiness, love, and eternal bliss.

And my brother Andrew told me what you said, "The best is yet to come." Dad, make sure you say hi to "Old Blue Eyes" for me and let the good times roll.

You will never be forgotten and you will always be in our hearts and prayers forever.

The motto of Dad's military unit during the second world war was "Everywhere, the right and the glory lead". Dad has been doing just that ever since. An inspiration us all... he will be sorely missed. Peace be with you my father.

May God go with you.

Mike made many friends and my Dad and Cuca were blessed to be on that list. Coffee at Mcdonalds was a treat Ricard looked forward to. They will be plotting great things from above. With much appreciation, the Hidalgo family.
