Doug was a wonderful, caring person. He loved helping people. You could call Doug any time with theatre questions and he would stop whatever he was doing, go on line and look up information. His bus trips were wonderful & always a huge success. He will GREATLY BE MISSED.

Thanks for all you did for us at Rogers Park, Mr Foster. You were the best basketball coach I had in Danbury and I still remember our team trip to NYC to see Man of La Mancha. Rest in peace.

Doug was a true theater aficionado.
I adored Saturdays with Doug on Broadway.
Doug was the classic tour guide for all of NYC.
I shall miss our orchestra seats and stress free rides to and from the city; but most of all, I shall miss Doug's cordial attitude toward all in his Theater Club of CT.

I had know Doug and Jan since our college days. They will be dearly missed. I wish that they could have know my present husband more. I loved going to sporting events and the theater with them. I bet he is happy to be with his true love, Janet.

Doug was a huge part of our lives for so many years as a co-worker and, more importantly, as a close friend. Jazz concerts will always evoke memories of him. Our condolences go out to Doug's family and friends everywhere. He will be greatly missed by all of us.

Doug.....you will be missed!!! Great guy. A very giving person who loved his students. You passed on your love of sports and the theatre to all the kids of Danbury. Your influence will be felt for years through all the students you touched. RIP

Remembering long phone conversations about a million different things; his kindness and thoughtfulness in trying to please all of us who rode with him; his passion for the theatre and his dedication to the Theatre Group and all whom he served. I cannot believe he is gone..it is surreal. To the Foster family: he will never really be gone...when you need him, just say his name in your heart and he will be there. Orchestra seats for everyone in heaven!
