We here at Hole Products would like to express our deepest sympathy to the Flatau family. We recently had done some business with him, and had the pleasure of meeting him one day when he came by our office for lunch. We know he will be missed.
So sorry to hear of the loss of this life loving man. I will remember his laugh. My sympathies to his loved ones.
David was a college friend and one of the kindest, and funniest, people I ever knew. My deepest sympathies to his family.
I am so sorry for your loss. Dave was a wonderful man.
My deepest condolences to The Flateau Family, and the love of Dave's life, Nancy Stein. The world has lost one of the kindest, warm-hearted men I've ever met.
I am so saddened by Dave's passing. He was a kind and funny man who made my mom Nancy so happy. It was heartwarming to see the love between them. They were a wonderful pair who matched each other in enthusiasm and energy. He will be dearly missed by so many. My deepest condolences to Tyler and the rest of the Flatau family.
I can't ever watch Nemo without thinking of David and these words that he said "it's all about the love that a father has for his son" and the laughs we had trying to mount the big screen TV in the living room so he could watch it with Tyler "on the BIIG screen". Tyler, Linda, Alison and the Flatau family I am truely sorry for your loss ~ Barbara
David and I were childhood friends. We all played hockey on the pond down the hill. I have not seen David in many years yet I still remember he always was happy. I am saddened to hear of his untimely passing and send my most sincere condolences to his family.
To the Flatau family,
My deepest sympathy on the sudden and untimely passing of Dave. I never met Dave, but came to know about him through my very dear client Nancy whom I have been booking travel for many years. I was getting ready to send out their cruise documents for their trip next month when I heard this shocking news.
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on your great loss and may all of you find strength in the beautiful memories shared with Dave.
Mrs. Flateau and Alison, I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember David's vibrant personality in high school and from visits to your home meeting foreign exchange students around 1971. My deepest condolences.
May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
Alison, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I loved the Nemo story, David must have been really special.
Dear Linda & Tyler, & Family
May your hearts be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. My heart is broken for you. David was a one of a kind genuine honest, good hearted man. Tyler in honor of your father, continue the path you are on. You were your fathers shining star & he is now yours. Linda please know I am here for you and your family during this difficult time. I have fond memories of you and David from the poolside dinner parties overlooking your beautiful property. He will truly be missed by all.
I am so sad that such a vibrant life was taken away from us much too soon. My parents, Leo and Anne Allen, were especially fond of David. My mother was so proud that she introduced David to the Hettinger family who gave him his very first job building fences and started has career. My father loved having David as a client of his CPA firm and meeting with him to discuss his growing and successful business. During my father's last years, David was the only person, other that his children, who visited my father regularly. He was often accompanied by Tyler and Linda. I am forever grateful for the joy and friendship that David brought to my family.
My husband and I would like to extend our sincere sympathies to Tyler and the rest of David's family for the loss of such a wonderful man. He was a quick witted and generous soul and he will be remembered in our thoughts and in our prayers.
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
We were so saddened to hear of David's passing. He was so kind. It was such and honor to know him. What a loss for many. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all who loved and cared for him. With heart felt sympathy.

It was a shock when I heard of David's passing this morning. We were childhood friends that continued that friendship into adult life. David, who was always called "Teddy" by his close friends was an usher in my wedding, and later I worked for David at his home and with his fencing business. I always admired how David could see the potential for new business opportunities. He was a warm, caring person and will be missed by all who knew him. My condolences to all of his family members and to his close friends.
It was such a delight to know Dave for the past few years. He seemed to glow with kind of like and angel every time I was in his presence. Thanks Dave for being a part of my life. My prayers go out to the family.
I am shocked and saddened by the loss of Dave. I had the pleasure of working with him on several occasions and considered him a very dear friend. His warmth, compassion and love of life always shined and always will. He will be dearly missed.
