passing. My deepest sympathy...Sincerely, Linda Randazzo
Amanda my deepest sympathies on the lost of your mother. You and your family will forever be in my prayers. I haven't known you very long but I always told you what a wonderful loving family you have, take comfort in each other during this time of great sorrow and rejoice knowing your mother is in a better place.
As a childhood friend we'd write to each other during vacations about girl talk, and going through Hayestown, Broadview, and DHS we shared many moments together. Times that have left me with memories I will cherish. I'll always remember your smile and laughter when I'd see you at Walmart and always. May you rest in peace knowing your families will have the support of many who will help them find strength in their memories and be there to listen, to do anything they need.

I will always remember my childhood friend full of smiles and expectations. As an adult, I know Jo-Ann's greatest wish and joy was becoming a Mom. Her wish came true when she was blessed with Amanda and Courtney. Jo-Ann, will miss your laughter.

We are so glad that we were able to get to know Jo-Ann and care for her in her final days. Such a wonderful lady :) Love from the nursing students at WestConn.
I saw her by chance after nearly 30 years and yet it seemed like no time had passed. She was just as kind and friendly as I remember her in Broadview and at DHS. There are not many people who stay genuine over time as Jo-Ann. My thoughts and prayers are with her family & friends.
Carlos, Amanda and Courtney - May God's comfort and love cover you during this difficult time.
You were always cheery and fun to talk with, whether you were working or coming in shopping with your girls and hubby. One of the best people I've known and I will miss the heck out of you! ...
Our Sympathies to the entire Sousa and Antonio Families on the lose of Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister- the wonderful Jo-Ann. She was a terrific person and so very much loved.
She left us too young, too soon... and way too sad.
All our love, Tommy, Janie Matson and Family
God looked around his garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon his earth and saw your loving face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. His garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering, he knew you were in pain. And knew that you would never get well on earth again. He saw your path was difficult, he closed your tired eyes, he whispered to you "Peace be Thine" and gave you wings to fly. When we saw you sleeping so calm and free of pain, we would not wish you back to earth to suffer once again. You've left us precious memories, your love will be our guide, you live on through your children, you're always by our side. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone, for part of us went with you on the day God called you home. Unknown
Our deepest sympathy to the Antonio and Sousa families. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
You were a special person Jo-Ann. Since I've moved I've always missed our conversations at lunch especially the craziness that was Walmart. The way you talked about your girls and how proud you were of them and their achievements in school was just a glimmer of how wonderful a mother you were. My condolences go out to your family and loved ones during this rough time. You will always have a special place in my heart. RIP dear friend.
Jo-ann was my best friend at Hayestown School and I have so many wonderful memories of birthday sleep-overs at her house and eating Hostess cupcakes. She was a sweet, warm, wonderful person and my heart goes out to her family.
Our sympathies to your household. Joann was a kind mother and wife. I'm sure She will be looking down and listening to the beautiful A Capella music ringing through the Sousa household in the years to come.

She really will be missed by so many, especially her loving family, who gave her pride, verve, humor and enjoyment. Her quiet strengths were evident in her strong family bonds, which she built with affection. She is taken from us all too soon. May her memory be a warm hug when needed.
