This candle cannot replace the spark that is missing from your lives...but know your beautiful daughter flies amongst the angels now and is being watched over by her beloved school friends. God bless you and help you through the dark days ahead.

With deepest sympathy to Josephine's family. I'm friends with her grandparents Louise and Bob. I cannot imagine the heartache but know your friends are with you all in thought and prayer. Stay strong. Love and prayers to the entire Gay family.

Josephine, I'm sure you will be missed by all your loved ones. It's not fair you were taken away from earth, but I know you are in a better place, and making Jesus laugh! May Mary, Mother of God, hold you in her arms.

I am french and what happened in Newtown makes us feel useless because we are too far. Words cannot describe how much I feel heartbroken after the death of all those innocent, adorable little souls. My prayers go to you all, and especially to Josephine, who wears the same name as I do. Just try to stay gathered, in memory of your beautiful little girl. I know what one feels in such a moment for I lived quite the same a few years ago. Be courageous, believe that all our prayers are going to help you go through horror, to help you find a glimmer of hope. And try to forgive, even if it's way too hard to think about right now. Lots of love and prayers from far away. Josephine.

«If I am without love, it will do me no good whatever.
Be ambitious for the higher gifts. And I am going to show you a way that is better than any of them.
If I have all the eloquence of men or of angels, but speak without love, I am simply a gong booming or a cymbal clashing. If I have the gift of prophecy, understanding all the mysteries there~ are, and knowing everything, and if I have faith in all its fullness, to move mountains, but without love, then I am nothing at all. If I give away all that I possess, piece by piece, and if I even let them take my body to burn it, but am without love, it will do me no good whatever.
Love is always patient and kind; it is never jealous;
love is never boastful or conceited; it is never rude or selfish; it does not take offence, and is not resentful.
Love takes no pleasure in other people's sins but delights in the truth; it is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes.
Love does not come to an end.»
