Think of you often, miss you very much. Especially this month, the month of your birth. "When I'm 64", eh? You and cousin Barb together.

We loved you Nomad Kevin, used to see all you 60's bands. Loved you all and thanks.

I was Kevin's next door neighbor for a few years. Really a wonderful man. I wish I'd known his history before his passing, I'm sure we'd have spent a great deal more time chatting. I moved recently and only learned (from my mother in Florida) too late to give condolences to the family at his services. I'm sorry for your loss. I was really saddened by the news.

We miss you, Mevin. You've been a great friend since high school - drummer for our group "The Nomads", a great tennis teacher, and so much more. It already seems much quieter around here without our weekly get-togethers. Hope there is a Tonelli's Restaurant in heaven, so you can get some good eats there. Make sure God knows dinner is at 4pm. We will always remember you.

Wonderful tributes. Too many memories. Like when Kevin asked me to go with him to a WestConn class play competition, and then told me when he picked me up that we were still going but he wasn't participating in protest of the Kent State massacre of students that had just happened, so think that was 1970. We sat there in the bleachers until his sophomore class's play began, then he stood up, shouted out his opening line, climbed out of the stands and joined the play, shocking me and everyone sitting around us. Kevin sure knew how to make an entrance.
Who remembers the weekly Danbury newspaper Kevin talked about starting? Did he ever do it?
I last talked to him over the summer to tell him another high-school friend and drummer, Pete Genest, was dying of liver cancer. Kevin gave me his email address and I sent him info; hope they got to talk. The day after Kevin's funeral, Peter's brother called to say he had a seizure and was near death, and he died this Monday, Jan. 28, at St. Mary's Hospital hospice wing in Waterbury. Family plans a memorial gathering in the spring, fyi for those who knew Pete.
One of the last times I saw Kevin, he was cleaning off his father's gravestone in Wooster Cemetery after a snowstorm. He moved over a couple of feet and did a jig, and I guessed correctly he was dancing on his grave.
So here's to a very special person who still will be bouncing off the walls in all my memories of you, and I'll come by and dance with you sometime. Rest in peace, Kev, and hope all the love and respect shown here on these pages will comfort your family.

Condolences to the family and friends of Kevin. We have so many fond memories of Kevin playing with our brother Joe Koch in our basement after school everyday in their band the "Nomads." All the band competitions and parties!!!! I am sure he is making music with our brother in a higher place now! May you rest in peace!

I remember Kevin from the 60's when we both played in rock bands in the Danbury area. It was competitive and fun and Kevin always put forth his best.
The words expressed here by so many of his students say it all.
Rest in Peace.
