Alzheimer's is such a tough way to go, especially for someone who was so healthy and dedicated to helping others gain and keep their health. Life is truly a great mystery. May Larry Dee Scott fly freely and strongly again now. Condolences to his family and loved ones

I was fortunate to see Larry guest pose at a Mr. Olympia contest in the late 1970's, more than 10 years after he won his first Mr. O. What a physique he still had! I once called his gym in SLC to see about visiting and he answered the phone. Nice guy, great bodybuilder, superb human being.

We will always remember Larry for his warm smile and gracious manner. He loved life and he loved people. We will miss Larry, our good friend and neighbor.

So sorry for your loss, my husband follows all the body builders of this era. I want to of our condolences to the family and hope you find comfort in all the good memories. May God give you peace in this time of sorrow.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Though I didn't know him personally. There is a scripture that will bring you some comfort. Romans 15:4 says,"through the comfort of the scriptures we might have hope. " Stay strong as a family and remember God is there when we need him.

Rachel and family. In 65 I saw larry win the olympia from the second row. Well he will NEVER be equaled. He inspired me to win the mr bpt in 68 and 71 and mr conn in 73. I'm truly crushed. And I'm so sorry Bless you all.
