Herman L. Wise was a man true to his name.He was my Uncle by marriage and someone whom I could trust on all levels. With his genuine heart and keen sense of humor, he could explain the inexplicable. He is at peace because peace lived inside of him on earth, and his mission was always to do good. Thank you for the privilege of having you in my childhood and for the great memories on Welch ST., Uncle Herman. xoxo

A wonderful man...a good servant of God and neighbor. My life is better for having known and worked with him. May he rest in peace. Fr. Bill Matheny

I best remember Herman by his association with my dad and Saint Thomas Cemetery. Through his dedication and tireless efforts the cemetery was and is a beautiful resting place for many. May he Rest In Peace.

Herman Wise was a jolly ole self of a man. He never met a stranger and his laughter was contagious. He treated loved ones with the total respect of a great man. He will be missed, but he took his wings and flew to heaven to be with others who had passed before him. No more pain and he will rest in peace now with the love of our heavenly Father. He was a true Christen and believed the word of God and he enveloped his love to all who had the privilege of knowing him.A caring man and a honest one, he was. Gary and I are the lucky ones who were introduced by Rita Jean Harber to him.Happy that they found one another and shared and cared by her. Rest in peace and God Speed. Barbara and Gary Efaw.
