Of course you wrote your own obituary. You will be missed old girl.....I am a richer man to have known you.

Shirley was my favorite sister in-law. She always called me Sarah Girl!!! I will miss her funny jokes and stories. She had still had her sense of humor in the horsepital (her exact words to the Dr.) when we came to visit recently. She would always clean our sunglasses when we were in the car on our way to go to dinner. Don't know why but it's a fond memory. Shirley welcomed me into the family with open arms from the day we met. She was a loving, caring and one smart cookie. I will miss hearing her voice but she is with the angels in Heaven and her body is restored. I LOVE YOU SHIRLEY GIRL!!!

Dearest Shirley - It comes as no surprise that you wrote your own obituary. We don't imagine you would've wanted to risk the chance of letting anyone have a chance to not "get it right!"
We will miss your warm and generous smile, your quick and razor sharp wit, and your open heart and "frank" commentary on whatever subject came up in conversation. There was never any guessing what was on your mind and there aren't many others we can think of who was more "fair" than you in reaching an understanding. Your love and affection in caring and "pet sitting" our little Westie "Zoe" meant so very much to us and even more so to her. We're glad that you were there to greet her when she followed you across the Rainbow Bridge just five days after you and know how happy you must be to have her with you now again.
We loved your company so very much, your boistrous laugh, your joy and love for life, and the great love and care you shared with so many people. Whenever we think of you, it will always be with a great smile on our faces and warmth in our hearts. You will be missed so very much dear lady. Rest in peace and free from pain. We love you.
