LINCOLN - Mark Alan Elliott went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, March 15, 2013. Mark was born on May 23, 1959 in Milford. He was a millwright worker until his disability made him retire. Mark was a gun collector and also enjoyed shooting, fishing, racing go-carts, attending stock car races at Delmar Speedway. He loved his family. He attended Cokesbury Church in Georgetown. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Charles M. Elliott; and his brother, Norris Ray Elliott. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Helen Vita Elliott; a son, Brian Hughes of Milford; a step-son, Duane Stanley of Lincoln; three grandchildren; his mother, Lois Williamson of Lincoln; two brothers, Ronnie K. Elliott of Greenwood and Curtis G. Elliott of Lincoln; and a sister, Shirley E. Harris of Chatham, Va. Memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Cokesbury Church, 15092 Cokesbury Road, Georgetown, DE 19947. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fleischauer Funeral Home, POB 502, Greenwood, DE 19950 to help defray the funeral expenses.
