Psalms 20: 1,2 February 12, 2019 A Great Man!! Thank God for giving him to us for the number of years he was here with us. February 12, 2019 I am writing this in memory of my Mother, Ann Rogaczewski, and brother, Walter Rogaczewski. Being a Dearborn resident for many years, my Mother said she would always vote for John Dingell. And here is why: Back around 1969 my brother was in the army and slated to go to Viet Nam. We were concerned for his safety of course, but even moreso because his vision in one eye was very poor. No matter whom he talked to he could not convince his superior officers that his poor vision would make it very difficult for him to be a effective soldier in battle. My mother wrote to John Dingell and asked for his help. John was able to arrange for my brother to continue his time in the service here in the states. This is exactly what Vice-President Biden was talking about when he explained how John treated all of his constituents with dignity and understood their concerns as parents. I pray for John's family that they feel his love and strength even now. And I pray that our representatives in Congress learn from John's beautiful example. Christine Thompson, Farmington Hill, MI
