After Andy arrived at my house in San Antonio late on the evening of our High School Soccer Team's 1st Reunion after 45 years (4/2/2011), I commented 'it was a good thing he found our opponent's goal in that Championship game easier than he found my house tonight or we might not be gathering as we are.' There was an extra bonus to that once in a lifetime reunion for me as I got to meet Linda and watch his then 16 year old daughter play soccer because her Connecticut team had traveled to San Antonio for a tournament that very same week. Although Andy's presence in my life was fleeting, his warm spirit, kind words, humility and ironic humor made an indelible impression. My deepest sorrow and sympathy for Linda, Alexander, Zachary, Gabrielle and Georgia. Prayerfully time will ease the pain and in addition to treasured memories, eternal gratitude to have had a husband and father as supportive and loving as he will remain.
