AMATO, WANDA T. MAHALIK Wanda T. Mahalik Amato, 82, of North Haven, died Thursday, November 15, 2012, at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late William V. Amato. She was born in Wallingford, May 18, 1930, a daughter of the late Vincent and Bernice Pernal Mahalik. Mrs. Amato was a parishioner of SS. Peter and Paul Church. She is survived by her two sons, Gary M. Amato and William J. Amato and his wife Stella, all of North Haven; her grandson, Michael Joseph Amato; her step daughter, MaryAnn Daly; her step grandchildren, Andrew Daly and Carolyn Daly; her sister, Mary (Mrs. Leonard) Dombroski; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Walter and Stanley Mahalik; and her grand niece and goddaughter, Tricia Coyle and her sister-in-law, Mary Amato and brothers-in-law George Amato, Ernest Amato and Michael Amato. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10 a.m. directly in SS. Peter and Paul Church, 137 N. Orchard St., Wallingford. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery. Gifts in her memory may be sent to the Myelofibrosis Foundation, 180 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 1870, Chicago, IL 60601.
