My condolences on your loss. We'll miss Patty's bright smile and effervescent personality.
I was fortunate to work with Patti for several years at the Yale School of Medicine. She was a kind soul and I enjoyed hearing about her son's achievements and accomplishments. We also enjoyed discussing God's word and its meaning in our lives. I know she's with our Lord and Savior looking down on her family and telling everyone how proud she is of them. While I grieve and pray for her family, friends, and loved ones, I know we'll see her again when all the saints are reunited.
I knew patty for 5 years and it was enough to know how great, kind and always smiling she was .my condolences to her family we know that only God can help in moments like this .
To the Kozey family,
My name is CONNIE SHABOO and I got to know Patty very well and in the 1990 when she was going thru her non hodgkins limphoma as well as viral mennengitis.
I was Patty's as well as Ross' (WHO WAS ONLY 6 yearsold) friend, caretaker and as she requested,"nanny."
We hardly knew each other but as they say,"GOD WORKS IN MYSTERIOS WAYS."
Those were the days when we ALL where FAMILY AN FRIENDS THRU THE GOOD AND BAD TIMES.
MAY GOD BE WITH US ALL.
With love and best wishes.
Dear Russ, Pat, Edmund, Jim, Ross & Jen:
My family and I will miss Patty more than we can ever express. Patty was the consummate Earth Mother - always taking care of everyone around her without ever once putting herself first. Patty would always be there if you needed her without reservation. She loved you all so much. We rarely had a conversation without her mentioning all of you. I remember one conversation when she said "I hope we will be friends forever". Forever has ended too soon. God bless you all. Love, Lisa, Jon, Cameron & Colin
May God hold you all in his hands and guide you through this difficult time. Russell, Pat, Jim, Garrett, Ross and Jen. hold family close. That smile and those beautiful cheeks will never be forgotten!
Patty was a great friend and we shared many adventures together. I am grateful I got to visit with her the last time I was in Connecticut. We had a chance to reminisce about our high school days, about working together at the kennel and all the fun we had together. We weeded her flower garden, played guitar, and chatted all evening. I will always miss her and her optimism. My heart goes out to Mr. & Mrs. Kozey, Jimmy and her sons. May God bless you all.
We are very sorry to hear of the passing of Patty. Our condolences to the family and friends. Patty was a lovely person. I wish you all peace at this most difficult time.
To all who were Blessed to know Patty. I prayer for peace and comfort in this time of sorrow, take solace in the wonderful memories we all share. Patty always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. She will be greatly missed
The world has lost a brilliant ray of sunshine, it's so very hard to believe. Patty's laughter could fill a room, she stood up for what she believed in, and her generosity knew no bounds. She was a devoted mom to Ross and Garrett, and she LOVED her family, friends, and co-workers unconditionally. God was at the center of Patty's life and now she is home. My heart goes out to all who had the pleasure to know her. Patty's spirit will remain with us always. Hey Patty, say hi to Muskie for us ok?
Such a beautiful soul. I was fortunate enough to escort her to her Highschool prom and recall having such a great time together. You will be missed sweet girl, but never forgotten.

One can only hope to travel through this life hoping to have the kind of impact that Patty did. She was my rock, my light at the end of the tunnel for every not-so-good day at work, and most of all, my friend. I am devastated by her loss, but trust that eventually the sorrow will pass and I will begin to fully comprehend that knowing her, for even as brief a time as I did, was a priceless gift. I recognize even more acutely today, with the loss of her incredibly compassionate and positive spirit, that every single moment counts. I extend my deepest heartfelt sympathy to her family and friends for their loss, along with prayers for comfort and strength through this incredibly difficult time.
In loving memory of Patricia Ann Kozey. Rest in Peace Patty.

I remember how beautiful she is... We sat together on the HCHS bus her freshman year. We had a long ride and many times got into deep conversation.
