I had the distinct pleasure of working with Jerry in a community play, a musical version of "A Christmas Carol". Jerry was cast as Scrooge and did a marvelous job portraying him. He was gracious to all in the cast and went out of his way to complement my daughter who was about 15 at the time. He had many terrific stories to tell of his career in show biz and he had a very captive and willing audience to tell them to. I will never forget how wonderful he was to my daughter and what fun it was to get to know him. Rest in Peace Jerry.
