FAPPIANO, OLIVE Olive Fappiano , 76 , beloved wife of Anthony Paul Fappiano, MD, of Madison passed peacefully away on September 26, 2013 at Madison House after a brief illness with family by her side. Olive was born October 29, 1936 in Dublin, Ireland to Mae (nee Moylan) and Joseph Boyle of Glasnevin, Ireland. Mrs. Fappiano was employed by Yale New Haven Hospital, Section of Chest Diseases. She was a parishioner of St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church. She was a lifelong resident of Madison. She married Anthony Paul Fappiano, MD and they made their home in Madison, CT. Olive was a devoted loving wife and mother who cherished time spent with family. She was a light hearted woman, who had a loving and gentle nature with a great sense of humor. She was an avid animal lover. In addition to her husband, Anthony she is survived and will be dearly missed by her daughter. Susan Olive was predeceased by Her parents, Joseph and Mae Boyle, and her brother Leo Boyle. Olive's family would like to express their deep gratitude to the Madison House and Connecticut Hospice staff for their wonderful care and to friends for their many acts of kindness and support during her illness. Funeral services will begin from the Swan Funeral Home, followed by the funeral mass at 11 am in St. Margaret's Church. Burial will follow in West Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in her memory may be made to Connecticut Hospice in Branford, CT.

Death Tony,
We were in Scotland when we read of Olive's passing. We always enjoyed her company, and knew her as a lovely person. Please know that Olive,Susan and you are in our prayers.

Olive my dear friend your troubled times are behind you now and you are at peace. I will miss you , I always said that if I ever went missing you would be the one to come looking for me. Friends forever.
