1956&57,The Eddie Saranec Band played at the IBI Sorority annual dances. In 1980, when we lived in San Francisco, we met a Cynthia Livermore at The Phoebe Hearst Nursery School fundraiser for underprivileged children.1983, we moved back to CT, one of the first St Rita parishoners to welcome us was Phyllis Saranec! That's when we connected the encounters.I will always cherish her Knowledge and optimism.

I am sorry to hear of the loss of Mrs. Saranec. She would come to see me weekly at my clinics to have her blood pressure taken when she was able to drive and get out. she usually came towards the end of the clinic time so that she had time to share stories of her wonderful life with me. I feel blessed to have been a part of this. she will be missed.
