One of Mr. Rosen's legacies is the great Franklin Miners Semi Pro football teams of the 1950s and 1960S.Isaw them play when I was 11 or 12 years old.
Sol was a welcome and friendly fixture in Franklin. I bought many a pair of lovely earrings from his store. He was one of the kindest gentlemen you could ever meet. My sincere condolences to his family and loved ones left behind. Love and peace to you all.
Franklin in "the days" wouldn't have been as great as it was without the help of Sol. He was a mainstay in the town and helped us maintain a great quality of life in our little town. I have many fond memories of growing up in Franklin and Sol will always remain a part of those memories.
WE HAVE KNOWN SOL AND HIS FAMILY FOR MANY YEARS FROM HIS STORE AND THE MINERS.
HE WILL BE MISSED.

I remember Sol from the Miners gamesMe and a couple of my friends went to Columbus Ohio for the championship game
which they one.
I had a couple of very good friends on the team,Dave Delea and Jan Caprino.
Rest in peaceSol.
When I needed a typewriter, my dad took me to Sol's. He introduced me to time-payments and talked to me about budgeting. I had that typewriter for many years and remember him well.
When I met Sol, I could tell he was someone who had lived a full life and had a loving family to support him. I know he will be missed. May he rest in peace.
WE ENJOYED SOL AND HIS FAMILY FOR MANY YEARS AND HE WILL BE MISSED BY ALL OF US.
So sorry for your loss. He was a great guy and always took care of me during football. May he rest in peace.

Sol Rosen was a great and positive influential resident of Franklin. I'd shopped at his store many times and he was always friendly and upbeat. I'm so saddened to hear of his passing. My sincere condolences to his family. Sol, may you rest in peace.
Sol was a big part of my life growing up in Franklin. Shopped at his store, spent time with his sons and was mentored by him while playing football for the Midget Miners. I'll always remember his boisterous laughter. My condolences.
Sol was a great father and is already missed by his family. Thank you to all the friends in the Dade area for your messages of support.
