GLENROCK, Wyo. - Mark T. Mezger, 50, of Glenrock, Wyo., formerly of Sussex, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Saint Clare's Hospital in Dover.
Mark was born Aug. 20, 1962, and moved to Glenrock 20 years ago, where he could live free and enjoy open spaces to do what he loved most - ride his motorcycle, hunt, fish and participate in shooting sports. While in Sussex County, Mark worked at the family store (Richard's Luncheonette), Ames Rubber and Dunn & Dunn Well Drilling, and in Wyoming he worked in the mining and drilling related industries. Mark was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Mary Mezger; his older sister, Marian; and little brother, Marty. Mark is survived by his wife, Brenda, of Glenrock, Wyo.; his sister, Paula Mezger, of Juneau, Alaska; his brother, Walter and his wife, Cathy, of Dingmans Ferry, Pa.; his brother, Richard and his wife, Sandy, of Glenrock, Wyo.; his sister, Teresa Mezger, of Sussex; his brother, Michael and his wife, Michelle, of Sussex; his sister, Mary Clare Lozaw and her husband, Raymond, of Sussex; many nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly; and many very close friends, whom he also considered his family. According to Mark's wishes, he will be cremated and a memorial service honoring his life will be held at a later date when all his loved ones are able to be together. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
Dear Mark, So sorry to hear of your passing. Though we only knew each other for a short time, it was an honor to call you friend. Many good times, good talks, and good laughs. I will NEVER forget the exile party at the farmhouse and the bonfires down by the river. The sound of a Harley will always make me think of you. GODS SPEED my friend, ride strong and Thanks for the Memories!

My deepest sympathies to the Mezger family and the many others whose lives were touched by Mark. It was a privilege to call him a friend and have opportunities to share humor, music, good talks, and just time enjoying the basics of life. Of course, the zany, king of carp, howling at the moon, dune buggy riding moments were also gems -- and the kind of things that burned Mark into my memory forever. Rest in peace -- in the wind, dear friend. You will not be forgotten.

My dearest first best trusted friend Ever, I Miss You already. The happiness you always brought to others still bring smiles on our faces. I truly have never met anyone in my 'long years of life' who was more true to his word. I am very lucky to have so many many emails I can look back on when I need a Smile or to just feel 'better' I wish I could have made that trip out there to see you like we'd planned but I know your finally at peace and I will go with that feeling. You hurt No Longer my very oldest dearest friend...I send the deepest PRAYERS to all of your family and friends through this time of sorrow..Until we 'talk' again sweet Sweet soul..Rest in Peace. I will never forget that guy from school who always lifted my Spirits, those teenage years are rough ones! I Love You Mark......Norma Bigalow. Go rest High on that Mountain .....
