He was such a sweet man always had a smile on his face.
I did not know Mr. Bucki, but read his beautiful obituary. I was moved by his service to people and his church. What really caught me was that he was from the same hometown as Karol Wotyla who became Pope John Paul II. I was a docent for the recent John Paul II and the Jewish People exhibit A Blessing to One Another. I hope Mr Bucki was able to attend. He sounds like he was a bless ingot many. May he rest in peace.
I will miss his smile and wave as he passed our home on one of his many daily walks. God bless and rest in peace my friend.
Helena and Jan Bucki together with God.
What an inspiration to all the people of St. Henry Parish. We will miss you Jan!
I saw Jan in Kroger just recently, prayed for him, tried to encourage him. He doesn't need prayer or encouragement any more. No more sickness, pain, struggling or problems of any kind. Praise The Lord!
He's got it made. He'll be missed.
My mom and dad, Vince and Rose Kreinbrink, were friends of the Bucki's from St. Henry's. Several times they came to our house at special times of the year. I'd like to think they are all four reunited now in friendship.
Never put off what you can do today for you never know what tomorrow will bring. Have you met an angel? Well if you knew Jan then you met one of God's angels. God lead me to Jan, I met him at the hospital and we became friends. The things that Jan had to endure during his life time made him an angel and disciple of Christ because of his testimony to his life and the suffering he went through but he lived every day to the fullest. He was a great man and I am proud to of known him. A Great Friend and will be missed but he will be watching out for his St Henry's family down here as he begins his new life with Jesus.
