Jared, I am so sorry we won't be able to spend time getting to know each other better. When you came to Odessa, I was thrilled to be able to see you often. You left us entirely too soon. I will miss your joyful nature and happy smile. Rest in peace!

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.
May your light shine brighter now than it ever could on this side. Thankful for the moments we had. Cheers
Dear Jared, I know you are in heaven and will make all the angels laugh. The world will never be the same without you! You are loved and missed by so many people. I pray you are in complete peace and happiness with our Dear Lord. I pray for your whole family, that they may find the strength to cope with the huge loss of YOU. :-( Kara Decker Bridges
I fear that I will never laugh as hard as I did with Jared, again...we had the same sense of humor and sometimes didn't even need to speak and just a shared look would make us burst out laughing (at work, too :) )... I will miss Jared dearly and with all my heart. Wish I could be there tomorrow... Jared, may God bless and keep you.
Thank you for filling our lives with your infectious smile, happy disposition and clever wit. You touched so many lives here as well as anywhere you were. The Texas University branch here will be missing so much by not having your expertise, wit and charm. Thank you for enriching our lives.
I am so sorry that your family is dealing with another loss. You have been in my thoughts and prayers.
Jared will be missed by many people. He is now in heaven with his mom and Will.
Love and hugs--
I was so sad to hear of Jared's passing. I have many fond memories of Jared at NKU. He was a great guy and had a beautiful smile. Many prayers to your family.
Reading these tributes to a friend that has moved on too early, it is evident of the love that was around you. Friends from Arizona to DC have all commented about the love and laughter that you brought them. It is a great tribute to who Jared was that his gregarious personality touched so many.
Prayers for your family, that those that mourn will be comforted. Memories of your laugh will always be with us. Thoughts of how you impacted us will fill us. My prayer for you is that you were welcomed into Heaven into the loving arms of the angels.
To the Barlage Family...
I was saddened to hear of your loss. I have many fond memories of Jared from our years at St. Pius grade school. May your memories give you strength. Praying for your family...

Thank you, Jared, for always putting a smile on my face. Heaven is lucky to have you!
To the Barlage Family, I am so sorry to hear about the loss in your family. I will continue to pray for everyone of you.
My condolences to the Barlage Family.
Jared was a great friend to me and I will remember the times we had while he was in DC with Adelaide, Hildegard,Duq and Dutkari. Also, our chats on Facebook, email and over the phone about politics, the parody musicals (He loved the YOLO one) and of course providing you with Dolly,Willie, Kenny and other "Country Fun" videos while you was in Odessa. I know you are giving a big hug to your mom Ginny and Will. You brightened everyone's heart while on Earth and you continue to do so in Heaven. Till we meet again
Love you Always "Jer Bear".
Jared could light up any room with his smile and laugh. Just got reconnected with him and makes me so sad he is now gone. Jared will be missed but I hope he is now at peace!
Your laughter and smile beguiled us;
Your untimely death has confounded us:
Your joie de vivre always inspired us;
We are all the better and richer to have known and loved you, but now that you've gone, the world is a little colder and crueler for each of us.
I will miss you forever, my little brother.
When I lived in Cincinnati, Sarah took me home to meet her family, and the Barlages instantly became MY family. I spent many holidays with them, and Ginny was like a mom to me and Jared like a brother. Saying an earthly goodbye to both of them in the same year is heartbreaking, but I take comfort in thinking of the fun that Ginny and Jared and other loved ones are having together now. Can you imagine the laughter at this moment? I am also thankful for times we shared. I will always be grateful to Jared, too, for teaching me what a proper sconce is, and when I remember him, I think of him dancing around in his plaid slacks and teal blazer. Not many men could pull that off, but Jared could! I will continue to pray for Hank, Sarah, Amy, Ben, Shug (sorry, Kate, it's how I remember you), and all his nephews and nieces who I am sure adored Uncle Jared. No one who loved Jared will ever forget him.
Our hearts are touched at the loss of one so dear. May your memories comfort you and keep your loved one near.
Hank, I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Dear Barlage family,
Please accept my condolences. I will keep your family in my prayers
"Big Valley" (the nickname Mr. Krumplebeck gave you in high school):
There was never anyone like you and wow could you make me laugh. The world is much less without you here and I will never, ever forget you. Thanks for being my friend and getting back in touch with me for our reunion. It meant everything to have you there. Best laugh ever? That would be Jared's. We will miss you! -Craig Cleveland
Jared was a pleasure to work with and laugh with. He made life better. His smile, his laugh and energy will always be remembered. Jared touched so many people and we will miss him. My deepest sympathy goes out to the Barlage family as they have lost a brother, uncle and best friend.
I'm so sorry. God be with everyone of you. We love you guys, and will pray that you somehow find some peace.
My sincerest condolences. While I didn't work with Jared directly, he was a colleague across the hallway from me. He always seemed to be in good spirits and was pleasant to be around. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
One of the brightest lights in my life is gone. I knew Jared from the Kennedy Center and we became buddies. So many great memories and sad moments. I'll miss his amazing DC stories and Barlage family gossip. I know he's happy to be with Will and Miss Ginny.

Jared, I am so bummed that you left so early in your life. And I feel for your family as their loss is so much more profound than mine. I don't know if I told you enough how much you meant to me. I hold you in the highest of esteems. When I think of you, it's sad right now, but mostly, it makes me smile.
I am so sorry to hear the news today of Jared's passing. My condolences to the family. I knew Jared and Will through working with Jared at the Kennedy Center. He was a very special person. His warmth, enthusiasm and great sense of humor were what I remember about him. He touched so many people's lives. I will rememder him always with great affection.
Jared was a kind and generous friend and neighbor to my parents and me. I wish him eternal peace under God's protective wing.

Jared, so very sad to hear of your death. I keep thinking of how much fun things always were in high school whenever you were around. I'm grateful we were able to reconnect on Facebook. Miss you, friend.
I will miss our FB chats and the way you made me laugh commenting on some of my project photos. It was nice "watching" the Thanksgiving Day parade with you. Now the angels in heaven are smiling, and you are together again with your loved ones and Will.
