The legacy of Mr. Guyot reminds me of the words from Lift Ev'ry Voice..."Stony the road we trod. Bitter the chastening rod, felt in the days when hope unborn had died". Mr. Guyot was a civil rights activist and like Mr. Guyot, we need to continue to tell the 'whole' story of this nation to this nation and particularly to the children. Lest we forget.....
