"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you; not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27
December 19, 2012
Dear, dear friends...we have not met, but our hearts go out to you as individuals and as our brethren. We watched in terror as the events of December 14th unfolded. We read names, and then we saw little Noah's name registered there. And as Jewish parents, our hearts united with yours, and we wept for your loss, for our loss, for the loss the world can only imagine. For yes, your little man would have brought much to our world. Why G-d allows such suffering we do not know, but still we trust in His working. We say kadish alongside you. We hold you in our hearts. We pray peace will come and that his memory will linger on in the lives of all he touched. We pray you will keep his name in the forefront whenever you do a mitzvah, that our people and all people may remember him. We pray your hurting hearts will know the calm, quiet assurance that G-d holds Noah, not just in His hands, but close to His heart and that he is safe and free from the evils of this world. Bring light to the world in his memory and in the name of Adonai our Father. Know peace. Love eachother deeply. Know you are remembered.

I have twin boys, they are grown now, but that parents-of-twins connection is so strong, and so my heart broke for you and Noah. Please know that parents and grandparents all over the country are with you in your grief. Sending love to Arielle and to you...
