Family,

I heard about Aunt Alice shortly after last week's services for Aunt Consie. I am deeply saddened and disheartened to lose another one of the most elegant and educated women in the City of New Orleans. With Aunt Alice's passing, almost all of the exceptionally talented, gracious, and dedicated educators from Xavier University's Class of 1941 are gone. Although it is truly difficult to see them leave us, it is comforting to know their grace and love continues to live within us.

My deepest sympathy for your loss. May the power of the Holy Spirit give you strength for the days ahead.
