Hi Benny,
I also didn't know you. You seem like you were truly special. Thank you for your work for the disabled. Your story adds to my report regarding the plight of the disabled to be remembered during disasters. Plans for evacuation, rescue and recovery should include people like you, not only on paper but also in real-life situations. God bless you, Ms. Benny.

Benny,
I'm sorry I won't be there on December 3rd, but believe me, I got the message about the Pelican loud and clear. You made me laugh- and miss you, which I always do.
Elaine of course, already knew, but I told her anyway. Love Always,Sara

Benny,

You were my first friend in New Orleans. You touched the life of everyone you met. You have a beautiful spirt, a wonderful smile. I was deeply saddened to learn of your passing. May you rest in peace.

Benilda although I did not know you or of you I happened across a story of you and was touched by what I read. You were and are an encouragement to ALL people, disabled or not to live your life with what God gave you. Your unselfishness at the end of your life is touching. How brave you were. I know you are in the prescence of God.
