I feel like the biggest question most of us have is "why?" I hope that all of us can get some kind of understanding one day "why" these kinds of things happen to good people. For the most part I have decided to accept that her job was done here. Chris lived her life very well. No one would have known she had a disabling condition. She never compalined or expected special treatment. That alone should exhibit her strength and determination. I am free of any disabiling conditions or illnesses and tend to complain and so do many others. My point is, her job here is done, God places people in our lives for many reasons and I believe that He placed Chris at Kindred with me and others to teach us how to live. Her life certainly has not ended, because she lives through me and many others she worked with. I was told by a very encouraging woman that God takes the lives of the righteous and leaves us here until we get it right. Her life, I'm sure, pleased God and his place for his children is in the land of milk and honey. Meaning not only are her needs being met (by the milk) but all of her desires are being met as well (by the honey). She was a very strong and courageous woman that I will admire for the rest of my life and try to live as she did. She certainly beat all odds! I will continue to pray for her family to find comfort, strength, and understanding throughout their lives.

Christine will be missed by many. I had the honor of knowing Christine through Naomi. I have never seen Christine without a smile. I hope in the days to come that her family is comforted knowing how many lives she has touched. May God bless and heal your hearts in the days to come.
