Dearest Cox Family,
My mother and father (Marie Sietzen and Raymond Catton) grew up in New Orleans and graduated from Nicholls High School with Curtis. I have heard many great stories about Curtis and Patsy all my life. I am saddened to hear of his passing. I am sure he will be greatly missed. But how fortunate you are for having such an accomplished, interesting, loving and vibrant man to have been a part your lives. My heart celebrates with you.

Mr. Cox taught me business English in 1964 at Warren Easton High. I will always remember him as one of the best teachers I knew. My prayers are with his family.
