Betsy and Family: I'm so sorry for your loss. Dave was always a class-act. I have many fond memories of early days with "Mother Chev" and Slidell. Company softball team - As a college athlete, Dave was 2, 3, ah heck ... 11 levels above the rest of us. He usually played left field. As an infielder, I absolutely hated fielding his throw after an opponent's hit. He threw a "frozen rope" with such velocity, I could literally hear the air crackle and hiss before it came into my glove. Holy crap ... it stung!!
As in athletics, Dave was at the top of his game as a geologist. Most importantly, his pride and love of family was always apparent.

To Dave's family,

I got to work with Dave after the ChevronTexaco merger and really enjoyed his company and strong resolve. He was a true gentleman and a positive influence on all of those that worked with him.

May God Bless you and strengthen you in this time of Dave's passing.

Betsy and family:
I first met Dave in the mid 80's at Chevron's office in New Orleans. He was my 1st exploration coordinator when I was in training. We worked together for the next 15 years. Dave taught me so much about our business in my early years and was a fantastic teacher/mentor and great geologist, always positive, never straying from why we were there, just a true professional in all respects. Someone to truly emulate. We will all miss him. Our prayers are with you. Mike and Janet
