David and I worked together at New Orleans Original Daiquiris in Metairie close to 15 years ago; however, he made a lasting impression on me as he did with everyone he met. David was soft hearted, kind and incredibly funny. My thoughts, heart and prayers go out to his entire family. I'm so very sorry that he was taken so young. But, rest assured that we have one larger than life angel up above looking over his family.

Sincerely,
Tammie Johnson-Pagano

David was such an incredibly happy person! I remember "sitting" (not babysitting) David, Sal and Cammie and how much fun we had together. From doing silly cheers (peel bananas) to just being kids. Never a dull moment :) You will, above all, be remember for all the happiness you shared with this world. I'm so glad I had the honor of getting to know you all those years ago...

David, I will always cherish the memories I have of you. As a member of the JHS band, you made us laugh hysterically and took out minds off our homesickness. As a cheerleader, you rallied the troops and as Jayson, you served as my inspiration for the 1987 yearbook cover. I'm saddened by this loss and will keep you and your family in my prayers.

David was my classmate at Resurrection of Our Lord School and Jesuit High School. To David's family I want to share a few wonderful memories. For Dr. Vincent - I will always remember playing football at Joe Brown Park in New Orleans with you, Sal, and David to celebrate a few of David's birthday parties; for Paul – I will always remember sharing popcorn with David in the early 1980s, popcorn you brought home from your job at the movie theater; for Sal – I will remember playing football with you and David, in your backyard, in the street in front of my house and at Joe Brown Park; and for Camey – you were the dearest younger sister, being a girl you were not around us boys for football play or other games but I have found memories of you being so very friendly and polite. Thank you all for being part of such positive and great memories. I also have many other wonderful memories of David at Jesuit – his selling spirit ribbons and his crazy actions as a cheerleader, his days in JROTC, days of just being David's friend to talk with in the halls of Jesuit High. He was a very good and true friend of mine for many years. For my old friend David – In the words of Fr. Harry Thompson “Good for you Blue Jay! Good for you!” Rest in Peace.

So sorry to lose David. He was a great colleague at Commander's Palace and I'm very sad to have say goodbye. God bless all those who mourn him.
