ANDERSON Douglas "Pops" McArthur Anderson, a retired Offshore Lease Operator, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the age of 65. He was born October 13, 1948 in New Orleans, LA to the late Clifford and Carrie B. Anderson. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife Jacqueline Anderson, his children Dana Sullivan, Indy Anderson (Isaiah), Harold Sullivan (Angela), Darryl Sullivan (Najwa), and his sister Jeannette Anderson (Eddie). He is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephew, and other relatives and friends whom he loved dearly. Pops touched the lives of many and will truly be missed. Relatives and friends of the family are all invited to attend the visitation and Memorial Celebration on Monday, March 24, 2014 in the Family Center of Charbonnet-Labat-Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Phillip St, New Orleans, LA 70116. Visitation will begin at 8:30AM followed by a Memorial Service at 10:00AM. The Service will be officiated by Pastor Antoine M. Barriere of House Hold of Faith Church. Interment Private.
