Alaina was a joy to work with and a wonderful person. She will be sorely missed. May God Bless her family.
I didn't know Alaina well... I worked at Waterford 30 odd years ago and again a few years ago for a short period of time. It was then I learned of Alaina's illness. I've NEVER seen such strength and peace in anyone going through what Alaina endured. Her faith was obvious, her grace like no other... Unforgettable... My baby sister won't be with us after these holidays due to cancer. In encouraging my sister, Alaina, in all of her amazing ways has been a guide and inspiration in me giving her faith and strength. I can't thank you enough Alaina, your path was clearly visible and an inspiration to all. I wish I had gotten to know you better but know that I am one of the many who will never forget you... My prayers are with you and your family; you will be immeasurably missed... Rest in peace, Alaina...
"Sweetheart" the word I think best describes Alaina. She was unique; gentle, kind, never one to gossip or say anything negative about another person. My condolences to her family. God bless.
Today was Alaina's beautiful funeral service at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Luling. I saw so many people who loved Alaina and whom she has touched. It was remarkable to see how one person can draw so many people through her kindness and sweet personally. She is admired by so many. A true Saint. We will never forget her and always love her. Her family will be in our prayers, especially at this Christmas time. God bless all of you.
Alaina took me under her wing when she discovered that I was headed to NOLA for surgery alone. We became fast friends and shared our hopes and dreams, struggles and triumphs. We prayed for each other, shared favorite songs about the Lord and both grew in our faith during the time we had together. I am so thankful that I had the privilege of getting to know Alaina, and for the sweet times I had with her. She is in heaven with Jesus, enjoying her glorious new, perfect body. We will look forward to seeing her again, and be better people for knowing her.
May the peace which come from the wonderful memories of love shared comfort you now and in the days ahead.
My deepest sympathy to the Zeringue & Arnold family.
May each of you find comfort in knowing that she will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by her gentle kindness. Cherish her memories. May The Lord give you the strength to pull you through this difficult time.
Alaina has been an inspiration to us throughout her fight the last seven years. She is truly an amazingly strong woman. She was still looking out for others and never complained about her situation. She is very much loved by all who knew her and will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace Alaina.
I am so blessed to have had you not only as a sister-in-law, but also as a friend. I will miss our many phone calls we had each and every day, but will remember your strength and courage you showed over the years. I know you are resting in peace now, free of all pain. I will miss you and love you always.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Alaina was caring in so many ways. She was an awesome cook, sewing for people, making pies, go out of her way to pickup things for her family and friends. She also was a very loving and caring parent to Donald and Daniel. I will miss her and at times I think she is still with us when I need to know about cooking, sewing, jellyrolls. It is hard to believe that she is walking on the streets of gold and meeting Jesus face to face and she will be an awesome and beautiful Angel. Love you and so happy that your pain is gone. Rebecca

The family and friends of Waterford 3 have truly experienced what a gentle giant and quiet hero truly means by witnessing your strength and courage. You have shown by your actions and spirit what true faith is. In the coming days and weeks, may your family know how many friends and co-workers are praying for you and your family. You have been such a guiding inspiration to us all and for this we are humbled. May you now rest in peace until we all meet again. To the family of Alaina, I went to school with Alaina. She always had a smile on her face, & was always there to lend a hand or shoulder to cry on.
