Cora Veade Obituary

VEADE Cora Barron Veade Funeral services for Cora Barron Veade of Kenner will take place at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Dupont on Saturday, January 19, 2013, beginning at 10:00am. Visitation will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church Hall on Friday, January 18, 2013, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm, and will resume Saturday morning. Burial services will commence at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery Cora Veade, age 91, passed away at the St. Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, January 13, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Veade; sons, Fred James Veade & Alton Thomas Veade; parents, Henry & Cecile Charrier Barron; brothers, Riley Barron, B.C. Barron, & Floyd Barron. She is survived by her children, Johnny Harrel Veade of Slidell & Connie Farmer of Rosamond, CA; two sisters, Carrie Landreneau of Mobile, AL, & Lillian Rupert of Virginia Beach, VA. She is also survived by her five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
