God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arm around and whispered "Come with me." A golden heart stopped beating beautiful hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best. Aunt Joanie this poem was given to me the day I found out that you went home with the good lord by Tuckers best friend Emily who met you the last time you and uncle Tony had visited with us. After she found out you had passed she went and wrote this poem and gave it to me and she told me that you were such a beautiful person inside and out and she had a wonderful time that day getting to know you and uncle Tony. That right there shows that it only took just spending one day with you to see how beautiful of a person inside and out you are. No matter what you always had a beautiful smile. I am so blessed and thankful to have the times I spent with you. You are and will always be an angel sent from above and I will cherish all the memories of the times we shared, the stories you would tell me about my daddy, going to Piccadilly and playing bingo with memaw, playing one of our favorite card games, playing yatzee and going to get roast beef po boys and how messy they were but how much we enjoyed them. The long conversations we would have about our memories of memaw and how I would tell you that took her place after she passed but you were nicer then she was at times and we laugh about that. I am so thankful and blessed to have you and uncle Tony . You and uncle Tony were always so good to me, my family, my brothers and their families. Even though my daddy was gone you made sure we knew that we were part of you and your family and that you would always be there for us and I thank you so much for everything you and uncle Tony did for us. I will miss you terribly but I know that you are at peace and I will always love you dearly and know that you are in heaven with my daddy, my brother John, memaw and of course sweet dear old papaw Charlie. I know one thing for a fact my grandmother Merle Faurie raised one of the most loving, caring, kindest and beautiful women I have ever had the pleasure to have been part of her family and she will be forever in my heart. I love you always aunt Joanie may you rest in peace you sweet angel! Love always Anya, Chris,Tanner and Tucker
