Olive Plennert Obituary

PLENNERT Olive Allison Plennert passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late George S. Plennert. Loving mother of Kay Peats (and husband Mike) and the late Paul Joseph Plennert. Daughter of the late Vanessa Sharp and Phillip Allison. Sister of Ray and Roy Allison and the late Amelia Barker and Douglas Allison. Grandmother of Monica Cantrell (and husband Brad). Great-grandmother of Myranda, Nickolas and Benjamin Cantrell. Great great-grandmother of Kaiden. Also survived by cousins, nephews, nieces and sisters-in-law. The family would like to thank her loving care givers Brenda, Mary and Gertrude; and a special thanks to St. Tammany Home Health and Hospice. She was a member of the Homer Williams VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Robert H. Burns American Legion Auxiliary and Fitzgerald Methodist Church. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 at 2:00 PM with visitation on Sunday from 11:30 AM until service time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in memory of Mrs. Plennert to be made to the American Heart Association. Please sign the online Guest Book at www.ejfieldingfh.com.
