The Council Bluffs Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution pays a tribute & deepest gratitude to George Paulson for the sacrifice he made for our country.
On behalf of Encompass Senior Solutions, I wish to express my sympathy. We cared for George and Lubi for the past three years and I am glad they are together, once again. George was a strong, independent man that always had a "plan". He will be greatly missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Paulson family.
So sorry for your loss, our thoughts are with you.

Annie Rooney, Marc, Steve and families: I send my love and support to you at this difficult time. I will truly miss my second dad. George always made me feel extra special each and every time I was saw him. He just always had that special twinkle in his eyes and boisterous laugh and always, always was full of compliments. If I ever needed a pick me up, I knew I could count on him to always make me feel the best. I will miss sitting down and drinking some red wine, with my specail George. He will be truly missed. Yet we know he is now with his beloved Lubi and in a happier place with her. Love you guys,
To the Paulson Family ~

To the entire Paulson Families,
The Paulson and Stom Families go back from the time that George's parents lived in Council Bluffs and, if I'm not mistaken, George's father, Mike, and my father, John, came to the United States together on the same ship. We cannot tell you how very sorry we are for the loss of a wonderful, wonderful man. George was always so jovial and had only kind words to say about one and all. My sister Elaine and I were fortunate to see him 10 days prior to his death. Although he was tired, he still had that same sweet smile and greeted us so graciously as was his style. Thank you to his sister, Mary, and his niece Mary Ann for allowing us to see him one last time. We shall never forget it! And, yes, his memory will be eternal. He is now with all his loved ones once again and oh so very happy to be in God's bosom. With love and prayers to the entire Paulsons. With much love and affection to you all. Mary Stom

George represented many things to a lot of people. For me...he was my Godfather (Kum). Always making a joke and offering a smile. You will be missed.
