Our dear friend Lou - from Paihia onwards - we shared daughters and memories of beach times at Paihia, times with Don on the Yellow Peril at Opua, times at Whangarei, visiting us at Bland Bay, and the precious time you visited us in later years, when we were staying at Paihia. Your gifts of carved kauri are dear to us - your eager smile preceding them - a cat and a penguin made from the butcher's block. You are the friend we will never forget - part of the fabric of our lives. Your daughters' remain dear to us and have visited us here in Hawke's Bay - Ann and Kay and families. Loving you, loving Frances and loving them. We keep steaming along, but with more puff. Remembering you always with abiding affection, Carole and Barry Stewart (and Helen)

Lou you will always be remembered in our hearts.
Our time spent at Waitangi Forest at your workplace with both you and Frances was special. Our sympathy to all your family.
