My condolences to Mavis' whanau and wider community. I remember Mavis with great affection and joy during my term as Synod Superintendent in the early 2000's. Her presence and love for people will be sorely missed. Love and Prayers, Rev. Kathryn Walters. Synod Superintendent, Central South Island Synod.

Greetings to the Ambler family. Sonia and I have warm memories of meals and conversations with Mavis and Roy in the Opononi family home and fellowship within the Anglican / Methodist Church family in the South Hokianga.

Ruth, Paul, & family

Mavis was a person of excitement and energy. A person who helped all and was an excellent methodist church minister, Omapere & Opononi Community Councillor, Opononi Hall Committee member and other numerous positions in the community.

I thank Mavis, family for sharing her with us, and the time given to South Hokianga people and elsewhere.

Thank you Mavis for your intergity and respect shown to all, a pleasure to know you also, a good friend.

Yours sincerely
John Reid & Family
