Colbert Taylor Bell, age 76, of Farnham, passed away on Tuesday, June
26, 2018. He was a self-employed logger and the widower of Katherine Ann
Bell. Colbert is survived by a son, Jeff Bell of Warsaw; a daughter, Tammy
Taylor of South Hill; four grandchildren, Megan Bell, Shane Bell, Lindsey Townsend, and Spencer Taylor; one great-grandchild, Brayden Kellihan; a brother, Odell Bell of Sandston; sisters, Judy Martin
(David) of Mechanicsville, and Linda Pillsbury (James) of Montross; and numerous nieces and nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, Taylor Bell and Hilda Robertson; and two sisters, Frances Scott and Kathy Ann Bell. A funeral service was held on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Totuskey Baptist Church with Pastor Walker Gaulding officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. The family received friends on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home, Marks Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of
Virginia, P. O. Box 2098, Tappahannock, VA 22560.
