BAIRD
Audrey J., 84, died August 5, 2014, in Rutland, VT.
She was born in Hackensack, NJ. April 23, 1930, daughter of Maxwell O. and Margaret (Johnston) Stephen.
Audrey was a 1948 graduate of Hackensack High School in New Jersey. She resided in River Edge most of her life, then moved to Plainfield, NJ.
She was a retired bank teller and following retirement worked with children in the Plainfield, NJ school system.
She moved to Rutland from Plainfield, NJ in 2012.
Surviving are a daughter, Stephanie Ryan and her husband Edward of Rutland; a son Robert Baird and his wife Renee of Plainfield, NJ; two brothers Maxwell Stephen of River Edge, NJ and Frank Stephen of Wyckoff, NJ; five grandchildren, Edward Ryan, Julie Ryan, Erin Barth, Alexa Baird and Ryan Baird; five great-grandchildren Charles, Matthew, Madison, Shannon and Cooper; ten nieces and nephews. Family was the most important thing in her life.
She was predeceased by her sister Isobel Meyer.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date with burial at George Washington Memorial Cemetery in Paramus, NJ.
