Perhaps the greatest composer EVER of beautiful and timeless music set to motion pictures. He will be very missed.

Indeed, his music will live forever.
With thanks for YouTube, I frequently
listen to my favorite of his compositions, lifting my spirits when ebbing low. I listened to his memorial at BBC radio. The note found on his desk
is filled with inspiration.

Some people forget the affect music has on us. I am thankful to have had the pleasure of being entertained and moved by Mr. Barry's music. I hope that grief will be replaced by good memories and the knowledge found at Psalms 37:10,11 that we can live forever on a peaceful clean earth.

Sincerely,
Pam Nesbitt

The very first record album I purchased? It was "Thunderball"

My sincere sympathy to the family of John Barry. It is indeed a sad day for all who loved him through his beautiful scores.
I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to rehearse and conduct "Somewhere in Time" with the Dagenham Crusaders of London in Scotland in 1985.
The deafening standing ovation was most fitting for this sensitive loving composistion.
Mr. Barry, You shall always be with us "Somewhere in Time"
