WEST MILFORD — Services were held for Joseph Robinson, 64, of this township, who died on Saturday, February 15, 2014.
Born in Donalsonville, Ga., Mr. Robinson lived in Haledon before moving to West Milford 25 years ago. He was an operating engineer with the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 825, Springfield, working at Hartz Mountain Industries in Secaucus, M.J. Paquet in Ridgefield Park, and J. Fletcher Creamer & Sons in Hackensack.
Services were Friday at the Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, Franklin Lakes, followed by interment at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Donations may be sent to the North Shore Animal League, 16 Lewyt St., Port Washington, NY 11050.
Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife, the former Patricia Trommelen; his daughters, Stacey Waters of Paterson, and Gina Lavalle of Weehawken; his brothers, Douglas, Eddie, and Jimmy, all of Georgia; his sisters, Ann Stoler and Kathie Lomineck, both of Georgia; and seven grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, Otho and Bunice; and his siblings, Gene, Curtis, Ronnie, and J.T. Robinson and Myrtle Young.
