Joan M. Rogalsky, lifelong Rockaway Borough resident, died at home on April 10. She was 80.
Rogalsky was a secretary with the Rockaway Borough Board of Education for over 25 years before retiring in 1999.
She was a parishioner of St. Cecilia's Church in Rockaway.
Rogalsky is survived by four children, Denise Dougherty, of Rockaway, Tom Rogalsky, of Jefferson, Lori Thauer, of Long Valley, and Mark Rogalsky, of Sparta; 10 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph, in 1999.
Funeral services were held at St. Cecilia's Church in Rockaway. Arrangements were provided by the Whitham-Kanapaux Funeral Home in Rockaway.

Our path's have kept us apart for many years but I still have the fondest memories of Joan and all the Rogalsky's going all the way back to my childhood.. She will be missed.
