Very glad I got to play some tunes with Joe the last time I saw him. It had been about 30 years since the previous occasion. Play on, Player.

So very sad to hear of my cousin's death. Joe and some friends played the music at my wedding in 1975 as a gift to me. I'm sooo sorry he is gone but will always remember his with much love. Sympathies to all of you! Love, Jolie Greene McDonald

Will Miss You Musical Brother. Joe Jackson was an original member of our 5 piece band "The PROFORMERS". We go way back to the 1970's. We played weddings, private parties, clubs and most memorably - cruises around the Hudson River on The Circle Line Boat from 1980 to 1985. We were currently in the band "JazzyCity" and were booked for NYEVE 12. When we went to see Joe in the hospital, his main concern was still trying to make the NYEVE Gig! We are so saddened by his departure and we will miss his music, inspiration and his friendship forever. We are sure he is playing his trumpet in heaven with God. Goodbye our special musical brother. You will always be remembered.

With All Our Love And Fondest Memories,
