Throughout his career as a professional golfer and television analyst, Ken connected generations of golfing greats. Ken educated and entertained generations of golf enthusiasts with his unique talent for describing the game. I'm proud to be his cousin and to forever share his story as a true legend of the finest 'game ever played'.

Sincere condolences to Kathleen and the Venturi family from Mick and Rosaleen O'Connell, their family and especially their son Diarmuid. Ken's generous and caring support for the mentally handicapped in County Kerry, Ireland, will always be remembered. He wore his greatness lightly.

I never met the man , but listening to him commentate and most recently during interviews I felt like I'd known him personally. I especially liked his straight forward approach to his commentating analysis.

I enjoyed Ken's views shared on CBS
for 35 years.
In this life its rare we encounter one
who's irreplacebale.
He stories shared and precise analysis
+ humor were in a word tremendous.
What a life he had...

The highlight of my youth was when Ken would come to Mt. Pleasant Golf Course for many years to play in the Eastern Open. The finest iron player I had ever seen. He'll be teeing it up now with Hogan. Tony Lema, and Byron Nelson.
