Madeline P. (nee Cholakis) of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Twp. of Washington, on May 23, 2015. Loving wife of the late George. Predeceased by her siblings, Nicholas, Matthew, Helen and Patricia. Beloved aunt of Peter Stavros, Lynne, Ann and Peter Cholakis. Dear sister-in-law of Margaret Curtis. Madeline was a graduate of Beacon High School, NY and received her bachelor and master degrees from NYU. She was a teacher at Bogota High School for many years before her retirement. She was a member of St. John the Theologian Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Tenafly, St. Barbara's Church in Sarasota and St. Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church in Paramus and was very active at St. Irenes Philoptochos Woman's Club. She was a world traveler living her life to the fullest. Visitation at the Barrett Funeral Home, 148 Dean Dr. Tenafly on Tuesday 4-8 PM. Mrs. Jameson taught me Personal Typing at Bogota High School. She was a precise, dedicated, and wonderful teacher. My hope is that she knew how many lives she touched and how many students she gave such a valuable skill. I know that I have been thankful to her for my typing ability which has been so useful throughout my personal life and my career. I am sorry to hear about her passing, and I hope that her family finds consolation in knowing that others care. Wishing you God's peace.

She was my teacher in Bogota High School, Class of 63. Wonderful teacher and wonderful memories of her. My sympathy goes out to her family.

Mrs. Jameson was my instructor at Bogota High School. She was a wonderful person who believed in her students even if they didn't believe in themselves. My deepest sympathies to her family. She will always live within your hearts.

You taught us well how to type without the use of the alphabet and looking at the keys. Will always be grateful to you for that. You were mighty stern with us, but that helped mold us into the beings we are today!
