Mr. Fedele - this was a strong, but sweet man who managed to use humor in even difficult classroom circumstances and found value in all types of students. My wife and I took History with him together and he remained one of the more positive memories of our time at North Bergen High. His loss is a shock and a painful experience even though we had not seen him in over 40 years. Glad to see that he left a lot of loving family memebers behind to carry on his spirit.

I remembering meeting Ralph (Mr. Fedele) for the first time in Robert Fulton grammar school in 1964 when his intention was to get my friends and I interested in basketball and baseball while conducting a clinic. In high school I played basketball and baseball for him for four terrific years. I respected and looked up to him as much as anyone I ever met. He was a great man and a class act and I will always remember his positive influence and the greatest of times my teammates and I and Ralph had together. You will never be forgotten.

To the Fedele family:

Sorry I will not be able to attend the services on Dec 27. I will be visiting family in Michigan. Ralph was a big factor in our success as a Union. He will surely be missed by all my colleagues who taught along with him at NBHS.

I knew Ralph for a decade or so before he was appointed principal of John F. Kennedy School. I then taught there and after his appointment he called me in June or so to ask me for directions to Kennedy School as he was uptown North Bergen guy and an uptown / midtown / downtown gentleman in all regards. I moved on to the high school and there he was. Ever constant. Beautiful man and handsome to boot. A true and truthful anchor at NBHS. So humble. So loved.

Wonderful person! I remember when Ralph was one of the first people to welcome me to North Bergen High my first year as a Guidance Counselor in 1970. A classy guy and a greatly respected teacher who contributed so much to NBHS & our Union. Bob Jaworski, Montvale, NJ
