KOCHMAN
Robert, of Lincoln Park, NJ, died on October 3, 2012 at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ, after a long battle with cancer.
Robert was born in Passaic, NJ, on October 3, 1941 and was a graduate of East Side High School in Paterson, NJ, where he was a member of the "Spartan" fraternity. Though retired at the time of his death, he spent his life as a Salesman and Manager of retail clothing. At nineteen, while working in Bamberger's in NJ, he was the youngest Manager in the Macy Corporation.
Robert is survived by his loving partner of nearly twenty-eight years, Paula Nearier; his brothers, Richard Kochman and his wife Arlene, Ronnie Kochman and his wife Florence; his sister, Jackie Kochman; his children, Randy Scheck, her husband Steve, and their sons, Steven and Patrick; Bonnie Kochman; Scott Kochman and his daughter, Nicole; Brian Kochman, his wife Patty, and their son, Jared.
Those who knew Bobbie knew his good heart, his humor and his gentle spirit. He left us much too soon.
Funeral service will be held at Louis Suburban Funeral Chapel, 13-01 Broadway, Fair Lawn, NJ, at 11 AM on Tuesday, October 9, 2012. Interment will follow at King Solomon Cemetery in Clifton, NJ.
