Ron hired me straight out of college 35 years ago and I have worked for him ever since. He taught me alot of things in life and business. I looked up to him like my own father. He will be missed forever. My sympathy to the family and remember all the laughs you have had.

I grew up areound the block from the Higgins family and was good friends with Ellen throughout our school years. Mr. Higgins was a hard working, dedicated family man who cared deeply for his family and the community. My condolences go out to all the Higgins family.

My prayers go to the family, I fondly remember Ronald during the time when I lived in Pompton Lakes, and also was the Organist and Music Director at Christ Episcopal Church. He truly was a man of honor. Sincerely, David Braun

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Claire and the rest of the family. Ron was like a father to me (and so many others as that is just the way he was). He truly cared about people. May he rest in peace. I know he will be truly missed.

Ronnie's Mom & Dad were good friends with my Mom & Dad. It was either his Mom & Dad who stood up for my Mom & Dad when they got married, or vice versa. I remember visiting their home in Union City. I still see Joanie occasionally and Ronnie drove me to Union Hill High School my first day there. Looking at his picture, he looks so much the his father.
God Bless.

Eric & I were so sorry to hear of Ron's passing. I had the pleasure of serving on our the board of Shepherd's Haven Adult Day Care Center. He was a truly kind man, a true gentleman. Much love to the Higgins family.
