Mrs. Edna, I just found out today that you lost your husband after only a few months of marriage. We are so sorry for your loss. You will see him again in Heaven.
May 02, 2013
To my loving husband, my dearest one, who after 61 years of being apart, God brought us back together and my dreams came true- to marry my first love! He was in the past and still is the nicest, kindest, most gentle man I have ever known. Even though our time was cut short, the time we spent was full of priceless memories from the wedding at his home, to the honeymoon in Hawaii, and the time we spent with friends & family. My sympathy goes out to all of his family. Rest in Peace my sweet love. We will be together in Heaven one day!

To a wonderful man who came back into my mom's life & blessed all of us. I know he was my step-dad but he was so much more to me. He played with my grandkids as they were his own. He & my mom were so happy that it's hard for me to imagine life without him. God truly blessed our lives & gave us so many precious memories of him. My sisters, Diana & Cathy, & I will always remember him, but we'll see him again in Heaven. RIP Mr. Trent

Mr. Trent was my step-grandfather, but sometimes the step means nothing. He was high school sweethearts with my grandmother, Edna Gentry Holt, but they were separated due to life and the army. They both went their separate ways, went on to marry and have children, but they never forgot their first great love. Who does? So when they met again, 61 years later, it was meant to be. So on October 13, 2012, they were finally married. And in the short period of time God granted them, they were happy and fulfilled. My grandmother stayed at his bedside. And after years of independence, now she is bereft. Alone. She is mourning a man that we were all proud to call family. RIP Mr. Trent. We all love you and will miss you greatly!

Please accept our[Gail and I] deepest
and most sincere condolences on your loss.
Trent and I were IRS buddies for several years.
He truly was a special person;kind considerate, gentle caring and for me a good friend.
I often use one of his favorite expression....
When people bid you farewell as Good night, seeya tomorow... response "God willing and the creek dont rise"
I say it all the time and think of Trent when I say it.
God Bless HIM and may he rest in peace.
